Dr. Adi Malhotra is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist in the Coastal Gastroenterology Assoc, located in Webster . He moved to US in 2003.  After a year of research training at Yale University, he moved to Texas where he completed a residency in Internal medicine and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at UTMB, Galveston, and MD Anderson Cancer Institute. He has been serving the greater Galveston community for the last 15 years.  

He specializes in prevention of colon cancer with screening colonoscopy. He specializes in managing patients with esophageal reflux, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), liver disease (fatty liver, hepatitis) and Inflammatory bowel disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease

He believes in natural therapy with probiotics for complete digestive health, to boost immunity and  improve mood. Recently in his effort to provide the best care for his patients, he has formulated two high quality probiotics.
